Today was our first trip to Mom's.  We saw their outdoor seating and made a U-turn back to the yellow and white "plantation style" house on the corner (Estero Blvd. & Chapel St.).  We hadn't even gotten inside the door and Heather was coming out and greeted us happily.  Once inside it's evident this is a quintessential casual little "beachy" eatery with all kinds of funky displays...everywhere.  You'll be busy reading all the clever signs.  We picked our high bistro seats right inside the door and it wasn't long at all before Julie spoke right up from behind the counter "what'll you folks have?"  She took each of our names; we picked items, and details were clarified.  No, you won't get fine china but you'll get a boat load of food...and it will be good.  The cinnamon roll is bigger than your fist and the eggs come good and hot.  Sausage patty, right on point.  They have a choice of four different "tropical flavor" juices too.
Best part, reminds me of Cheers.  Everyone seems so welcomed and it's like breakfast and a show.  Spirited conversation for all.  Fancy, no.
Good eats, yes!  Warning, because it's this good, ya gotta expect "lines" in season!

We Stopped in because of the good reviews.
The cinnamon roll looked good, was heated and forgotten in the microwave until I mentioned it, when I got it, it was hard. The meatloaf sandwich my husband had was terrible, old and tasted and smelled bad as well, he took 3 bites and threw it away. We were there on Monday June 10, 2019 and he's been sick 2 days.
Throw the meatloaf out after 2 days if you don't sell it all!

The name caught my eye "going to Mom's"! Best hot cinnamon rolls I've ever had! Now I see why she asked if we wanted a drink to go with it! They were so sweet and savory, it was just what I needed.

Best cinnamon roll in Florida! The roll alone is enough to fill you up, but combined with Mom's daily special of a , and cheese biscuit with a slice of fresh  (if you wish) and a cup of coffee or sweet tea, you've got yourself an amazing breakfast!

Great biscuits, the biscuit sandwiches were fabulous and the cinnamon bun was to die for!  Cute homie feel!
